Welcome to the Bowdon Marriage Class. We are so glad you chose to join us for this class. The goal of this class is to strengthen your marriage and cement it in biblical principles.

FIRST CLASS MEETING:

At every class, you will be given material that will pertain to that class and will include a “session challenge” for you to go home and implement with your spouse. We encourage you to bring the following items with you:

-Bible

-Pen

-3 ring binder

Session #1 is titled “Understanding your spouse” in which we will be talking about 1 Peter 3:7 - “Husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way…”. You may be surprised to know that the CDC, APA, & PEW Research all reported that the number one reason for divorce in 2020 was a lack of commitment. 73% of divorces cited that their spouse seemed to have lost interest, did not pursue them, or took no interest in their desires. Our job in session #1 is to destroy that statistic with an important biblical principle - 1 Peter 3:7 - understanding your spouse.
